"Amanda Corrie? Someone's here to see you. Please be careful, she's known to become violent," said the man in white.
"She's in a strait jacket, she can't hurt me," said Stilus Traveny, easily brushing off what the man had told him.
The young teenaged boy blew his long, brown hair out of his face and kneeled down infront of the girl. She stared at the door, as if he wasn't even there. Stilus sat down next to her, putting his hand in her's. He waited for her to speak, and when she did, he was unable to hear her. Stilus put his arms around her shoulders and said, "Speak louder, I can't hear you." Amanda lifted her head and screamed, "It's coming! It's coming, I swear to God, it's coming!" Stilus didn't mind her screaming in his ear. He was about to ask what was coming, but she continued to scream. "It's almost here! T - They think I'm crazy! The men in white, they think I'm crazy, but it's coming! It's coming, Stilus, it's coming... can't you see the signs?" she shrieked. Stilus could see the men in white outside the door, urging to come inside. He put a hand to them and asked calmly, "What's coming? What signs?" Amanda, her eyes bloodshot and her once beautiful face now wrecked with havoc, said in a raspy voice, "The end, it's coming. We're all going to die... it's all over, the fires will burn out our eyes and Demons will eat our skin. Can't you see it...?"
Amanda struggled against her strait jacket, screaming, "The government! T - They know whats coming, but they won't warn you! They know whats coming, they know... oh yes, they know..." She fell over in her attempt to loosen the binds on her strait jacket. Shrieking at the top of her lungs, she began to pull herself in circles with her legs. Stilus watched in horror as his love screamed, hurting her throat. "Amanda... Amanda, stop!" he yelled at her, but she continued to scream random nonsense. "Cherios! Froot Loops and Cherios, they're plotting against us! Ha ha, how could Fruit Loops have thought to have gotten away with it?! What a silly thing! Aha, hahahaha! Ahahahahahaha!" she screamed. Stilus was forced to listen to her scream and watch her torture herself.
"You know! You know as well, oh yes, there is no way you wouldn't know! You've been plotting, Stilus, you're a Demon! Your going to eat my skin like its a sandwich, aren't you? Well I think that my skin would taste better than the food here! You know of the world's end, and you and everyone else are going to kill us all! Haha, I knew it! You couldn't hide it from me, I can see it! An angel visited me last night in my dreams and told me that you were part of the world's destruction, you, Stilus! I fucking trusted you, how dare you! You... no, no! No! Ahhh, applesauce! Cheese and fish and crackers!"
Stilus stood up from his squat against the white wall and walked to the door while she continued to scream. "The men in white! They don't believe me, they think I'm crazy, no! I'm not crazy, the men in white are wrong! Wait, Stilus, wait they're wrong, the government and the men in white are wrong! Stilus! Stilus, don't leave!" she shrieked. He, however, opened the door to the men in white. They stared at the girl as she writhed around on the floor, unable to use her arms. "Stilus, don't leave me, don't go! The demons, they're waiting for you! Wait, Stilus... Stilus?! No!" she screamed in fury. However, he was gone. Tightening his fist, he cried. The sight of his love in a condition like this hurt his heart. He could still hear her, even as he walked down the deserted, white hallway. "Orange peels and applesauce, what am I going to do now?! The Demons are eating my skin, it hurts! This light, it hurts too! Stilus, come back, Stilus!"
Three days later...
"Hey, man, isn't your girlfriend in that mental hospital near your place?" asked an ignorant young man.
"Yes, why do you ask?" asked Stilus, hitting a baseball that was pitched to him. His told was cold, like steel.
"Well, it caught on fire yesterday. You didn't hear? There weren't any survivors. I heard it was because some girl got out of her strait jacket and cut a bunch of people's heads off, then lit the place on fire. She was screaming something, like how Demons are eating her skin. I even heard that her eyes were melted from the fire. She died, though, thank God. There's been enough murders around here without another serial murder, am I right?" said the young man.
"So you wanted to see Demons, huh, little girl?" asked a demonic voice.
"No! No, it hurts! M - My head, my eyes, they hurt!" shrieked Amanda.
Light could not touch this place, it was a dark eternity filled with suffering and pain. "Ahh, Stilus! Stilus, where are you?! You promised... you promised you'd always be here for me!" Amanda screamed as creatures of the dark tore at her skin. She shrieked, crying, beating her legs and arms against the creatures. Needles came from the ceiling, from the Earth, and stabbed her body. Her eyes burned from the heat of this place. From every inch of this terrible place, there were screams. All of Amanda's nightmares were suddenly real.
"Oh God, I'm sorry! I... someone, please... please, help me!" Amanda shrieked as Demons cut open her stomach and feasted on her organs. "It hurts! It hurts so bad, God please, please! I'm sorry!" she cried in hopelessness. Kicking her legs against the rocks and spikes that were all around her, she screamed. So much pain, she was in so much pain... she continued to scream Stilus's name. Her love, how much pain had she put him through...? "Stilus, Stilus I'm sorry! I'm sorry, Stilus... God, no, no! Please don't take Stilus away, he's the only thing I've ever loved, please!" Bloody tears came from her eyes, and she realized something. She did not have any eyes. They'd been burned away, and her flesh was being devoured. "God, no... I'm scared, I'm scared! This hurts..."
Screams echoed around her. She wanted to see the light, to touch the sun... this was a place where sinners fell into. This was a place of suffering, where the dead rot. The walls were made of rotting flesh, and the stench of dead bodies was all around her. The Demons, they'd grabbed her hands and thrown her into the Red Sea. It burned her body, and she fell to the ocean ground. The lava burned her skin, leaving her intestines to burn. Her organs wrapped around spikes on the bottom, pulling until they broke in half. Is it over? Is it done? she thought. Her body was put back together, and the Demons laughed their demonic laugh. "No, no!" she screamed.
This was a place of death.
This was the Underworld, where the Demons thrive and the sinners are tortured for all eternity.
